A traditional sagai, sangeet, baraat, kanyadaan or vidai ceremony isn't complete without the sound of the nadaswaram (thought to be the world’s loudest non brass acoustic instrument) and thavil creating the right ambience. An essential part of the musical landscape generally for North or South Indian weddings, the Shehnai is regarded to be auspicious and that it brings prosperity and wellbeing to the newlywed couple.
Our duo have performed across the UK and in Europe at a number of wedding events aswell as themed events where the sound and look of the Shehnai presents a look and sound of India that you probably only see on TV!
